Casual PSWs Wanted – GTA
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- personal care
- assist with feeding/ambulation
- companionship
- monitoring safety
Skills and Abilities:
- excellent communication skills
- PSW scope of practice for floor duty and constant observation assignments in an acute care setting within the GTA
- caring and compassionate
- flexible and able to work all shifts
- patient lifting, moving and transfer skills
Requirements:
- clinical or work experience in an acute or LTC setting within the past 2 years
- holds a current PSW certificate from an approved program
- willing to undergo a Police Reference Check upon hire and annually
- must hold a current BCLS-CPR certificate
- must hold a current N95 respirator mask fit testing card
- communicable disease immunization status must be up to date
