Full-Time Live In Elder Care in Scarborough.

Job Description

Live-in Elder care help is required in my parents home. Duties will include companionship, light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, some driving for social engagements, shopping and appointments.

My father suffers from Parkinson’s but my mother is in good physical health.  Primary care will be for my father with some assistance for my mother from time to time.  The right candidate will understand this condition and be prepared to help both my parents live comfortably in their home for as long as possible. He/she will coordinate schedules with my mother and me for respite help, doctors, etc. and will assist with running of the home.   Negotiation with my mother will be necessary for managing the home.  A private living area includes basement living room, full  3pc bathroom, bedroom and office/2nd bedroom area.

All meals are included and specific hours & days can be negotiated.  In general help would be required most days for a few hours per day.   Use of an automobile from time to time would be possible.  Both of my parents are decent reasonable people who are former educators.
